The "Therapist Bio" page is, where we often look to decide:
"Will this therapist be able to help me?"
Credentials and experience are essential, however research shows that one of the most important elements is the therapeutic relationship you have with your therapist. I have experienced this to be true; so, I encourage you to meet with me in person to see what it feels like to sit together and talk with me.
It's tough to find the right therapist and starting therapy is scary! Therapy requires time and work and as Maya Angelou stated it best "All great achievements require time." You are worth the time! Change is hard and sometimes getting better hurts but without change things will stay the same.
My job is to help you unpack pain and process your feelings in a safe and confidential space. Therapy can be rewarding and a journey to self-discovery to become a better you.
I will adapt the pace to fit what you need. If I am not the best fit for your needs, I will help refer you to another therapist to fit your needs.
I draw on my education, training, and life experience to assist my clients with their challenges. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Managing multiple life roles may be a potential problem for everyone at some point in life. With insight, planning, and organizing life roles it is possible to put life roles in perspective.
I consider it to be a privilege to be invited into my clients lives to help them heal, change, and find solutions to discover what works for them.
